Recorded at the legendary FAME Recording Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the man has found plenty of inspiration in crafting his new album.

“I definitely tried to lean into the soul, blues, Motown, Southern rock type of thing… so when I decided that the soul/Motown route was the direction I wanted to take with the album, the first place that popped into my mind was FAME and Muscle Shoals,” he shared with Variety.

At just the age of 18, Myers has impressive achievements to his name. Viral hits, Hot 100 entries, sold-out shows — you name it! As millions of young hearts tune in to his relatable music, he’s definitely destined for bigger things. 

“At this age, you’re a very emotional creature,” he told Rolling Stone. “Remember how you had, or at least thought you had, an understanding of the world. Your emotions were deep. They were very real. It’s not discounted because you’re not 18 or 21 yet or whatever. It’s an uphill battle, because it’s hard — but it’s also not really hard, because it’s music.”
